The values of Kedah Stamps 1937, Malaysia

 
Overview

One of the most famous stamps of Kedah was issued in 1937, vignette depicting Sultan of Kedah-XXV, Sultan Sir Abdul Hamid Halim Shah Ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Ahmad Tajuddin Mukarram Shah.

The issuance of stamps from Scott 46 to 54 comprises nine values; 10c, 12c, 25c, 30c, 40c, 50c, $1, $2 and $5. The highest catalogue values were USD 75.00 for $2 (Mint) and USD170 for $5 (Used).
