Overview

In 1874, Sweden had issued numerous face values of postage due inscribed LÖSEN, meaning fee for underpaid a piece of mail. The 1^st. edition so-called L14 with perf. 14, followed by 2^nd. edition so-called L13 issued from 1877 to 1886 with perf.13.

Normally in preventing postage due fees, senders will check carefully on the postage rates that should be borne. In rare cases, senders might be overlooked or do not aware on postage rates, as a result the receivers have to settle the underpaid. Some of the receivers insist to pay and mails will be abandon in the post office. 

Hence, a probability to use postage due stamps will be very low. Relatively depends so much on volume of mails to be posted. In this contact, L14 was less used than L13. Hence, CVs for L14 will be much higher than L13, some of them more than 10 times higher. The highest CV and rarest was 24 Ore, violet, perf. 14, issued in 1874.
