Ned Indies (1883~1897)


From 1883 to 1890, the numerical issue without watermark was introduced for the Dutch East Indies postage. It was designed, engraved and printed by Joh. Enscheda & Sons Ltd.

From 1892 to 1897, the portrait issue depicting of Queen Wilhelmina without watermark was introduced for the Dutch East Indies postage. It was designed, engraved and printed also by Joh. Enscheda & Sons Ltd.

  2. These stamps are low cost to have. However, to find certain edition quite difficult due to vintage stamps.

  5. You might be referred to stamps catalogs for the latest CVs. You may refer to our articles such as "Notable Collection to Notable Collector in contact of Johore Classic stamps. We have prepared a guideline how to grading and valuting the stamps. Conditions of the stamps will affect the true value. Normal trading price colud be around 5% to 30% in comparison to CVs, except rare stamps could be more than 100% over CVs due to historical and sentimental values.
